What does Puta Madre actually mean?
Puta Madre is a Spanish swear phrase that roughly translates as “€%!!+##§§”. But it can also mean something is damn good. Here in Gothenburg, we stand for the latter.
Step into 1920s Mexico in the heart of Gothenburg: heavy velvet curtains, antiques and lighting that makes the evening feel like a secret. Add the food, the bar and the people, and you have one hell of a mix. We call it Puta Madre.
